Frequently asked questions about the method

Question 1

What is the BASIC Ph model?

Accepted Answer

The BASIC Ph model was created by the Israeli clinical psychologist and trauma therapist Prof. Mooli Lahad (Tel-Hai College, CSPC) in 1993. It is used by practitioners internationally as a system for describing a person’s resilience (psychological stability) in stressful and crisis periods.

Question 2

How is stress resistance related to depression and burnout?

Accepted Answer

Prolonged chronic stress and the depletion of coping resources are the main risk factors for burnout and depression. If your resilience is lowered and you feel persistent apathy, it is recommended to take the PHQ-9 online depression test — a standardized clinical screening tool — or the Beck Depression Inventory.

Question 3

Are there “bad” or “wrong” results?

Accepted Answer

No. The BASIC Ph method has no concept of a “wrong” profile. The goal of the test is not to level all 6 channels to one bar, but to reveal your unique natural style of adaptation. A low score in a particular channel signals not weakness but a “sleeping” reserve that can be gradually activated.

Question 4

How does the Express version differ from the Full version?

Accepted Answer

The Express version consists of 18 key questions (3 per channel) and takes only 3–4 minutes for a quick snapshot. The Full version (36 questions) provides the most accurate, deep and detailed psychological analysis with extended recommendations.

Question 5

Is the test anonymous?

Accepted Answer

Yes, testing on the platform is completely anonymous and confidential. We do not collect any personal data (names, phone numbers or email), and the results are calculated directly in your browser.
